Privacy & anonymity
PXL Reviews is run by the PSUT ACM Student Chapter so students can give honest, anonymous feedback on problem-solving training lectures.
Students
- We store your ratings, the difficulty you chose, your optional comments, and the day you submitted.
- We do not store your name, email, student ID, IP address, device details, or the time of day.
- A random code in a cookie stops the same browser reviewing a lecture twice. We only keep a scrambled version of it, which can't identify you or link your reviews across lectures.
- To prevent spam we briefly count requests per network using a scrambled key; these counters are deleted after 10–15 minutes.
- Trainers see averages and comments, never who wrote them. Don't put your name in a comment.
- Comments with offensive language are held for the committee to review before a trainer can see them. Ratings always count.
Trainers & committee
- Trainer accounts store a name, email, and a securely hashed password.
- Trainers and the committee can download their reviews as a spreadsheet. It contains the same anonymous ratings and comments shown on the site, in shuffled order, with no student details.
